SPY Award Nominations Needed — deadline January 31, 2024

We need nominations for this years SPY award. The SPY Award is giving annually at the Western New York Safety Conference to recognize a member of ASSP Niagara Frontier Chapter who has made outstanding contributions in the field of Safety, Health or Environment. Nominations need to be in writing – please use the Awards & Recognition form (link below) and email to Bo Burghardt or Brett Carruthers. Deadline for SPY nominations is January 31, 2024.

Community Service Award Nominations Needed

We also need nominations for a Community Service Award (a company that has done outstanding safety work in the community and/or supported Safety Professionals in Western New York). Nominations need to be in writing – please use the Awards & Recognition form (link below) and email to Bo Burghardt or Brett Carruthers.

Recognition

If you know of any members that have recently:

  • Earned a degree
  • Been promoted
  • Been recognized by the community
  • Changed jobs/positions
  • Achieved a certification
  • Retired
  • Achieved some type of milestone – i.e. 15 years w/ ASSP or 20 years in the profession
  • Published an article
  • Become a parent or grandparent
  • Recently married
